When you find something valuable, you hang on to it. My wife Diana and I consider ALR one of the most important activities we do. I have been so personally impacted by these twice-yearly retreats that it's hard to imagine where my life would be without them. We started coming to ALR about eight years ago. Since that time, our lives have had some pretty major changes. Yet through it all, ALR has been the constant. Spending regular quiet time has always been a part of our routine, but these extended times of silence and solitude have added a richness to our lives that was absent before. I thank God for ALR.
